WHY CAN'T I STOP????

I cannot stop shopping. E and M have more than enough but no I have to buy them more. Got E a nintendo ds for CHristmas and I keep picking up bargain games. Dh is killing himself laughing at me as I swear I am finished and really I'm not. I have done his birthday and Christmas. Just need to remember to pick up paper to wrap up his birthday things. Still desperately hunting Car's Vsmile game. Cannot get one here for love nor money and it's the one thing he has asked Santa for.

Busy month however. D has his birthday on the 11th and he is off. M is going to the childminder after nursery. So boozy lunch for adults only coming up. My birthday is the 17th and we're off to the snowman. Then all the parties etc in between. Roll on January for a quiet month.

Oh have applied for a more permanent job. Fingers crossed for me as I am so nervous about the change.

Mad Rabbit

We appear to have a nutter of a rabbit. This morning David was just about to leave for work when we heard a loud thud. We looked round to see the rabbit hopping about the floor. She'd jumped out of her indoor cage. I had left the top up while I got her breakfast. Tonight she was racing round her cage when she suddenly launched herself out of the cage again. So unfortunately the daft rabbit is going to have to remain with the lid down. She's stropping now. Here was me thinking she was a friends fan as well.

Enrolled Murray at School

We enrolled Murray for school this morning. He'll start in August 07. We met with Miss Miller who went over his form with us. We then had a wee look up at the infant department and we saw Eilidh's class and she introduced Murray to her teacher.

There will be 25 in a class and possibly 3 classes of Primary 1 next year. Not sure what Murray thought about it all. He's adament he is going into Primary 3.

So 9 months until the big day. Lets hope he grows by then or else we'll need all the trousers etc coming in.

What a difference a year makes

We've had the photo's done. The first one is the updated one. Can't get over the change in a year. They have both grown up.

Disneyland Paris Day 1

Day One Monday 16th October

We met Lorraine and Neil and kiddiewinkles at the airport. Text comes through from Frank as they were on the overnight sleeper to London to get the Eurostar. His train is 3 hours late so they won't be meeting us at 2pm at the hotel.
We check in. Everyone leaves me at the bar with the kids and I overhear a conversation about how I have my hands full with 4 kids. Just as well the other 2 are on the eurostar me thinks.

Flight takes off and lands about 10 minutes late. We get through passport control and have to wait an hour on the VEA bus. Next time we'll get the train I think.
We arrive at the Hotel Cheyenne and drop Lorraine and family off. We arrange to meet in Cafe Hyperion.

We head over to the Disneyland where we've been upgraded too.
Check in with a woman who has a right problem with our last name and keeps repeating how to pronounce it so she remembers for the future. She mentions Mickey and Mickey is stood next to dh. He cuddles dd and attempts to speak to ds who dissolves into floods of tears. Head up to our room. Lovely big room overlooking the bus drop off zone. So much for our lake view which we paid for in the NY. The room is very spacious and we decide to hit the park.

Since the kids didn't eat on the plane and only had biscuits from my bag, we head to cafe Hyperion. Get a magic hamburger. Edible but not brilliant like I've had before there. Kids barely eat. Friends are having problems at their hotel so we head on Buzz and Star Tours before joining them for Buzz and some fantasyland rides, teacups, Pinocchio, Snow White and then Pirates of the Caribbean. Lorraine, Lil Eilidh and I are sat in the front row with the boys and big Eilidh in the boat behind. We loved it. Didn't realise we'd get a photo done too. Decide to hit concierge at our hotel and book Billy Bobs in the village for dinner. We head right there and it takes 20 minutes to get a table. The meal is great. While we are there our other friends phone to say they are in Innoventions as they were so exhausted. Just as we are finishing they arrive and we go to New York for a drink and catch up with each other. Pluto arrives much to the kids amazement and we get lots of pictures and autographs. We all head our separate ways about 10pm and we head to the room to unpack and sleep before the busy day ahead. Only unpack PJ's and toiletries in the end. We all fall in to bed exhausted.

Wedding

Uncle David and Auntie Linda got Married yesterday. Here's some pictures.

The Party Season has Started

It was our friend Callum's 3rd Birthday Party. We went to Timetwisters and had a ball. We got to play then we got fruit salad, then dips and sticks of veggies and then tortilla wraps. It was all very civilised. Think we all had a ball.

Murray's Nursery Trip

Murray had a nursery trip to the botanics today. Mummy went too.

Ruby Update

Somethings's going barmy but Ruby is now 16 weeks old and growing by the day. She's a cheeky wee rabbit. Won't be long before she gets grouchy though. Apparently she will be rife with female hormones ;-)
