Was just thinking back to the holiday week. We went bowling and Eilidh and Christie helped the boys with their balls and it made life a lot easier while Caroline and I just chatted and made Cole laugh. It just made me realise just how grown up the girls are now that we're 7 years on. I remember when Caroline and I used to car share to go places with the girls and how much fun it was. Then we still sort of car shared with Murray. But when Cal came along we had to start going separately but the girls liked to go in each other's car. It's just amazing how much time has gone past and how things move on with considerable ease.
I'm definitely finding things easier now Murray and Eilidh can relate to each other more and although they still fight they do get on pretty well. I often can do a spur of the moment trip with them both and we don't need to think of things as much as I used to. People tend to forget that I used to have to have millions of changes of clothes for Murray and that I needed to ensure we were going somewhere that he could eat something which wouldn't cause a reaction. I've also been there that I have had 2 children to organise to go out and get sorted with. People just tend to look at me now and think I don't understand. But instead of complaining I got on with it. Caroline has 3 children and gets on with things great. I really take my hat off to her as it's hard enough with 2 never mind 3 with one being a baby.
Also been looking back on memories of childhood too. My friend Laura is moving to Kirkcaldy so I am excited about getting the train through to meet up with her and visit some places in fife. Fife holds great memories for me as it is where I used to holiday every year. I'd love to take my kids through and show them these places too.
Anyway looks like the washing machine is broken so best get on with trying to find out where I can get a new part for David to sort.

Been Busy
Life has been busy here. We had the February holiday but then my gran has been ill so she's been really poorly. I've been working as well as trying to do loads of PTA stuff. Keep thinking of things at the most awkward moments. I just don't seem to have kept up with anyone in the past week and seem to be constantly running around.
Yesterday we took the kids swimming before dinner and met up with the 5 C's. We fed the kids dinner. Us adults sat back and relaxed. But I realised I was the only one to have no drink. And I need to have stern words with that husband of mine... he stole the pint glasses as he was annoyed with the place. But it was nice for the first time that week to chill and catch up with friends. It was just what I needed.
Things are busy busy busy. Had a couple of phonecalls about working but at times which weren't suitable. But then one school phoned back and I got work elsewhere. Meanwhile the NN who left M's nursery to retire is getting far more supply work than I ever did. But I do have work one day this week in a nursery which I really like. Haven't heard about the job I applied for so will just have to wait and see what happens. I feel a bit in limbo and I'm not confident that I have presented myself well. I plan to print off the experience required for the jobs and quirk up my application form with that. Had a long chat with the new NN at M's nursery and she gave me a few hints and tips.
Anyway got a friend coming for lunch and then we are doing soft play. Will be glad to chill out lol.

Some Questions?
1. Will I ever learn how to cook roast beef? Mine's is always pink in the middle. I reckon I should go back to being veggie.
2. Is there a plan out there for me not to get a job which is permanent. I'm getting weary of doing supply and the time of year in which work dries up is coming up.
3. Will I ever be organised and actually feel it? There's always one little thing which slips my mind.
4. Am I a good mum or am I making a huge hash of parenting?
Just some things going round in my head right now.

School Holidays
It's school holiday week. I've realised that I am not cut out for staying at home anymore and how much I actually enjoy work.
Anyway, I've not been feeling great, but we went to McD's and Gymtot's on Monday. Have to say the place lacked atmosphere and I wasn't impressed to be honest. Though we did have some fun with our cousin's Lewis and Logan.
On Tuesday my mum and I went shopping with the kids and we had lunch. Murray wanted a burger king chiocken bites and a pizza hut pizza. What a boy.
Today Granny took them to Dynamic Earth where they appear to have tired my boy out as he's soundo. David was showering Eilidh as it was hair night and I got Murray's PJ's on and he was sound asleep by 7pm!!!
Tomorrow we hope to meet up with a friend but having real difficulty in getting in touch with her.
Friday is bowling day with Auntie Caca and her crew. Very excited about that.
Anyway Eilidh has been trying out her camera which she got for her birthday. Don't think any famour photographers have anything to worry about judging by the pictures below.
You can let me know what you think.
