Grr what will be the third thing

As thing happen in 3's can you tell me what else will happen today.

1. Nursery has always finished the same day as the school and gone back a day later than school. This year they are finishing on Thursday instead of Friday. Grr Murray for a morning. I've got his friend H coming now as his mum had made a dental appointment. So that will take up some of the morning.

2. I've opened the washing machine to take out the load and hang it outside....... dh put it in, never checked it and missed Murray's nappy inside his PJ bottoms and the nappy has exploded and the Gel is everywhere. Few things need washed again. But GRR.So what will my third thing be?

Boring Week

It's been a busy week. After a day off on Tuesday followed by coffee during Rainbow's and then a PTA meeting at night, I was tired on Wednesday at work and then they talked me into working Thursday too. I was exhausted but my lovely wonderful hubby took us out for dinner. I just love Fabio's Italian Restaurant. They are relaxed and laid back when it comes to children even though our 2 were being right pains. The staff always have time to entertain them. Their food is the best too. Nothing beats a Rigatoni Iolanda.

Yesterday..... I have no idea where the day went. I was exhausted doing loads of things and then this morning Murray woke me up at 5.30am. So not fair in my opinion. Ok he climbs in between us but then he sits whispering LOUDLY to himself.

But it meant I was organised in plenty time for Eilidh's dance classes as we were to view them today. You can find the video and pictures on their blog

They also had a party today. So dh and I sat in an empty closed Gyle while they were there. It was strange to say the least.

I was hoping that tomorrow would be a nice quiet day but looks like we will be blitzing the house. Whooopeeee dooooo.

Nostalgia

This has been a funny weekend. I found some old photographs of dh and I and also of Eilidh as a baby and upwards. It made me realise that there was a lot I had forgotten. It was nice going back through them and laughing of points where she had done things and bringing back lovely memories. I found her hospital picture too which I scanned into the computer and had a right awwwing moment. You can see her picture here It's so cute and I still laugh at how it looks like she's got her finger in her ear.

Went swimming with the 5 C's on Saturday. Got there and David hadn't packed swim suits for me or Eilidh so had to come home for them. Why didn't I just buy them out of the swim shop I have no idea as we got caught up in the rugby traffic. Anyway we had dinner there and the Chicken stirfry was gorgeous. Did laugh though as David doesn't like caesar salad so I ate some of it and then I never ate my peppers so Chris ate those, then Caroline decided to eat David's left over salad. It was just one of those moments when you had to be there I suppose.

One of Murray's friends Mum's had her baby yesterday Lukas was 9lb 1oz and is the double of his big brother with his big sisters colourings. Big congratulations to the Harrison Family.

Just how lucky am I as a parent

I was working in a VERY deprived area school. The school used to be two schools which is currently housed in one of the old schools while a new school is built on the other school's site.
The children were lovely. They mostly have very deprived backgrounds with parents who don't know any other life bar the one they've always known in poverty and on a life of benefits. Quite a few of the children had problems of some sort.

Looking round a few of them obviously get all their clothes from Tesco. They looked like my 2 lol. But when they spoke they were very different. Not just in dialect but in some cases having communication problems. Eilidh and Murray really have no learning problems and are 2 bright children who soak everything up like a sponge as well as having memories like Elephants. Eilidh is so fast at picking things up and she loves learning. Murray learns in his own time but truly takes in more than he lets on.

I have 2 very spoiled children to put it mildly. They want for nothing, love, food, clothing and toys (I could open my own toy shop). I was extremely blessed with 2 wonderful if not stroppy children and I am truly grateful that I have 2 wonderful children as well as having a wonderful supportive husband/friend/colleague. David and I have been together for 10 years now and so much has happened in that time. We have created 2 wonderful children out of love. We have a good relationship when we listen to one another but we do have the best interests at heart of our children and what we want for them in life. I hope they grow up to be happy, well adjusted individuals who are not scared of life but love living life to the full and making the most of the oppurtunities handed to them as a lot of children/young adults will never get offered the opportunities that Eilidh and Murray will.

As a song used to say "Remember the children of the world, each one is precious, precious in our site, send your love to the children of the world, remember them, remember them in your prayers tonight!" Just give that moment to think of the children who do not have all the things and love which Eilidh and Murray have.

MY blog is fixed

I can now view my blog again yeaaaaaahhhhhhh.

Will catch up later though.
