Stuff

Hurt my back 3 weeks ago. It sorted itself out when I was in Dublin but was agony by the next morning again. Got physio for it tomorrow.

Work has been busy this month. I've only done one job for the office. The rest of the time has been the original job and one other school needing me. Am hoping to go back to the job from the office as I had a lovely time there and really liked the staff.

Eilidh sat level C Reading and passed no bother. We're really proud of her. She's done so well. Murray is just Murray and is happily enjoying most things.

Hoping to finish up at work for the holidays on Tuesday but we will see. We've booked Easter Weekend in Inverness. We're very excited by it and can't wait to head up there.

Otherwise none of us can believe we are at the end of March already. Where has the 1st quater of the year gone? Before we know it, we'll be at the summer holidays.

In Dublin's Fair City

Seeing as we took the children away on our 10th wedding anniversary. When an opportunity arose to go to Dublin on our own we jumped at it. Cheap flights and just for the day. One of the first things we found was this a bar. We just had to take a picture of our baby boy's name.
Then it was on to the Guinness Storehouse where 250 years ago Arthur Guinness founded the famous brand. To be honest I was bored, it's not my sort of thing but David enjoyed it.
The Views from the Gravity Bar at the top were just fantastic. You could see the whole of Dublin and it really makes for some breathtaking sights.
We came out of the storehouse and jumped in a taxi where the taxi driver kept going on about 2 churches St Patricks and he kept highlighting they were protestant churches. He recommended Oliver Gargarty's for lunch. It was expensive and not what we expected. lacking in a bit of atmosphere. It was a shame as the bar downstairs was buzzing but the restaurant lacked that little bit extra.
After lunch we had a wander up O'Connell Street the main thoroughfare of Dublin and wandered by the river. Then we hopped on a bus tour which took us an hour right round Dublin and some great sights for us to remember for next time. Then we found a wee coffee shop and had a cake and a hot drink before heading to the bus stop for the bus.

We had lovely couple quality time yesterday. Something we were desperately needing. I love David so much and am so glad we managed to work things out after the last year. Hopefully if money allows we may nip away for another break somewhere together soon.

Will I ever learn?

I worked 3 full days last week.... I did a full day school trip....I had 1 child at home sick.....I did a 12 hour trip to Dublin.....I erm seduced my dh. Now I am exhausted, my back is in agony and I have agreed to do 2 full days. I've done a tesco shop today and also a trip to my mums with the partylite stuff.

I just want to sleep for a week.

Hopefully I will learn to rest on Wednesday and not be silly.

Glutton for punishment

Can you believe that I have agreed to work 3 days a week again!!! I honestly don't know how to say no but anyway it's going to be good money for the end of the month. You get lunch with the children which has been home cooked and it's a later start and early finish so ideal.
