Buying Underwear?

Why is it that people always tell you that nice new sexy underwear will spice up the action in the bedroom and make you feel good about yourself? I just don't get it. I went to La Senza today and the majority of their bra's were padded. Hello.... I was blessed with a nice chest that I don't need padding. I like something soft against my skin instead of something which reminds me of the 1980's shoulder pads. I also thought to myself as I walked through M&S's nightwear department that there is all this sexy type of nightwear yet I am drawn to cosy comfy long pj's.

I just don't get this sexy nightwear thing. I did get some for my wedding night and it was so uncomfortable. I was glad to get home to my comfy pj's the next night.

I looked at some of the types of underwear in La Senza and thought that it would remind me off the tart from the stag do. There's just no way I could wear anything like that and not get all those images in my head. That certainly won't help my marriage.

So it's back to my granny pants and comfy PJ's made of cotton. I may be 30 but I seem to be old and frumpy in that department.

On the marriage front things are nice at the moment. The tension is almost gone and D is trying hard. Getting time on our own seems to be working for us. I know he's organised a babysitter for Friday night so looking forward to whatever we do without having to worry about Tweedledee and Tweedledum interupting us. Talking seems to be working along with being honest. Time will heal but these things do take time as well so it won't be an overnight thing but hopefully we'll be celebrating our wedding anniversary in happiness in October.
