On Monday my new sofa's arrived at 9.15am. By 9.30 the guys had gone but the skip still hadn't arrived for the 3 sofa's we were getting rid off. We had loads of other things to get rid off too. So was most put out. Luckily it arrived. Dh and his dad filled it up and off we went to my gran's with the 3rd sofa a 2 seater we didn't have room for. We removed my gran's horrible low sofa to the garden and tried out the new one. She really didn't know what to do about it but my mum says she's getting used to it and liking it now.
Then dh came home and my mum and I took my nieces to Dunfermline for a trip to Primark. I saw some gorgeous cushions and regret not getting them for the sofa. Will just have to go back. We then went for lunch in a lovely cafe nearby. We had the delights of Ashleigh's egg roll being spurted everywhere when she bit into it. Ashleigh yelling about Nun's when some came into the shop. Finally Ashleigh danced and sang along the high street.
That night, Eilidh announced a fringe had just appeared in her hair!!! After about 2 hours she agreed she'd cut it herself. I was on my own in my corner as Dh believed she'd been bullied at school and someone had cut it (not her story but what he got into his head).
On Tuesday I working in the morning and had a lazy afternoon but managed to get a hair appointment for Eilidh with another hairdresser in the salon as mine was fully booked. Then we had a palava with her brownie uniform bottoms. Once again they have disappeared. Still haven't found them.
Yesterday was working again all day and then had to race to get Eilidh and get to the hairdresser but due to the fatal crash on the M8 and then another crash on the Gogar Roundabout the traffic was gridlocked. While I was working yesterday I was in the garden while the children were outside and I have completely hurt my knee. So on total rest today.
Finally got to bed last night but not before a hectic week. Hopefully we can have a quiet weekend.
