Cinema

We decided another very last minute thing on Thursday night that The Game Plan was on at 5.15pm so we'd go and see it. We got the kids some popcorn, chocolate and juice and we got maltesers and a diet coke. The film was brilliant. A good mixture for everyone about a man who discovers he has a daughter and how she changes his life. Then we went to Pizza Hut for dinner at 7.30pm. Kids found it tiring so we ate pizza and took puddings home. Yesterday for Good Friday I took the kids to Horton Hears a Who. I wasn't too in to The Cat in The Hat and although I've come to love the Doctor Seuss Books I don't love the films. I liked the ending but it was a film where I got bored. I want to see the Spiderwick Chronicles but seems I am outvoted.

Saturday and Sunday's Happy Moments

I don't have a happy moment for Friday. But Saturday started off badly but got nice. We took Eilidh to dancing and went shopping and cafe nero. We popped into the Oxfam Bookshop and ended up leaving with 6 children's books for £5. One was a joke book. BAd move with Murray. Then we dropped them at my mum and dad's and went to see Nation Treaure. Was a bit of a tense time to start with but it soon eased up. After that we had a nice meal in Old Orleans. We then picked up the children and watched Ant and Dec before everyone headed to bed.

Today was nice as a family. We went to see the Penelope film. Murray wasn't too impressed but he sat there. We then played about with the new games we bought and then went out for chinese which was nice as we took Grandad with us. Been a much more relaxed day today and was nice. Makes me sad it's the end of the weekend. It was nice to just do things with no plan for once. We'd only gone upstairs for lunch at Livingston and ended up in the cinema. But it was a lovely day together.
