Not a Monday Holiday

Am feeling strange as I think everywhere but Edinburgh has a Monday Holiday today. We had one last week, so feeling very eerie while we are preparing to go to school that the rest of the world appears to be off.

Had a lovely quiet weekend. It's probably been well needed with the rest for me. Next Saturday will be busy too with the school fair. I'm cheating with the baking this year. I got scone mix and cake mix from maKro. Nice ones for a change just to save me time. I am sure they will be fine. It's not what I'd normally do but am doing it anyway lol.

The weather seems to be starting to turn ever so slightly. It's been quite warm and sunny and now it's dull, overcast with wind making it cold. I'm truly hoping that Saturday will be lovely for the fair as it's hard work being inside all the time when it's not that nice outside.

Oh well Number 1 child still isn't up, so will go and rudely awaken her again. She's really not a morning person these days. Strange when dh and I have no troubles getting up lol.

Back to School

Our 2 went back to school today. I found having dh at home to be a pain as he just got in the way. I did collect Ruby before walking the children to school and rushing home. A nursery phoned and booked me for Wednesday. Apparently the office is still over the shot with their new HR online system.

Took Rubs to the vet and she is on the mend. So she's home and in the hutch outside again.

Then D and i went up to Dunfermline and shopped in Primark. Dunfermline has a fab High Street. It's an old fashioned type one and I just love it. What I don't love is that Dunfermline if FULL OF ROUNDABOUTS. Every where you go could be a straight road apart from these roundabouts.

We headed off to Nando's in the Leisure Park for lunch. Forgot the Fife schools are still on holiday but Nando's was quiet and the meal was lovely. There are so many places to eat there. It was great.

We got home with an hour to spare for collecting the gruesome twosome. So now it's time to make lunches for tomrorow as homework is done and then dinner for tonight. Still full after lunch lol.
