While walking home from school, Murray gave me cause to raise my voice with him and change my tone. His response was to burst in to tears and then utter through tantrumy screams "If you loved me you wouldn't shout at me!"
It gave me reason to think about does he think I don't love him when I shout. This morning I had to shout as neither child was ready to leave for school despite being asked to 4 times.
Murray isn't a difficult child like his sister but he can be hard work and often tells me he loves me. I did chuckle a little at his logic of me not loving him because I was shouting.
Aren't kids just strange sometimes?
