Wednesday Already

After a very busy weekend, we're now on to Wednesday. E and M went to the Science Centre again on Friday with G&G Carlisle. They seemed to have a good day. On Saturday we went to the Edinburgh Science Festival. Bumped into a few people we know and went with the 5 C's. The boys hit Dig up a dinosaur while the girls unwrapped a mummy and us real mummies had a stop in the cafe. Then the girls did Mission Improbable all about the body and the boys went into the playcentre, where they had to build a wall and walk across it, listen to stories, draw pictures and play with Gluk and Sand. It was a quick lunch before we raced to the ER room where E and C operated on a person, learned CPR and other medical things while we went to the crafty area with the boys. We left the science festival and went swimming. The water was cold and it was very busy after being quite quiet. Out we went to get changed and showered and we had dinner. It was a long busy day and we were all shattered but it was a great day.

Sunday was a short day as British Summer Time began with us loosing our hour in bed. Murray went to a party in the afternoon and then we had a quick dinner before heading out on the bikes as it was sunny for once. It was a nice cycle out and Eilidh got to grips with her bike which she had only had one shot on since she got it in January due to the weather.

Monday was a day in town to get Brownie stuff and yesterday was a lazyish day with lunch at Klondyke. The children stayed the night at G&G's as we went to the theatre to see the rise and fall of Little Voice which was really good. But we didn't get home until about 11pm so just as well the kids were staying over night rather than a babysitter here. The weather on Monday was lovely but yesterday was rain rain rain. Maybe it was an April Fools.

E played a joke on me by telling me grandad had shared her email password with her. Turned out he hadn't. The scottish news tried to tell us that a new tanning salon could do your tan over the internet and the sun told us that Glasgow Airport was being renamed John Smeaton Airport. Pizza Hut offered a cleaning service while you eat your pizza for £5. Wonder what other April fools were out there.

The children are off to Gran's this morning and David is out tonight and then off tomorrow before his surgery tomorrow night. Then I become Nurse Louise. I can't see it happening personally.
