It's been snowing

As you can see the snow fell on Saturday night. So Daddy, Eilidh and Murray have made snowmen on both the driveway and the garden. Unfortunately, it's turning rather slushy now so hopefully it won't freeze over tonight. Keeping Central Heating on all night anyway.

Just a quick Hello

Just a quick Hello from me.

Work is going well. Eilidh is finally on stage 5 reading (I reckon her reading ability is higher than her teacher gives her credit for). Murray's loving the childminder these days. She took him food shopping and in general chit chat she asked him what he thought of a food and he replied "I don't like that, put it back!"

Was working in the sticks the other day and My god the car was filthy after parking on the main street. The nursery has a car park which I will remember for next time. Murray and I had to go thru a car wash which he loved as the men was it while you are still inside. It's great fun.

Speak soon and hope to add pics soon etc

Valentines Day

I woke up to these on Valentines Day. Aren't they lovely? I just love Orange flowers.

David took the day off and we went to Livingston and saw Chicken Little in the cinema. Then we hit Pizza Hut for a buffet followed by a look in the shops and then Tumblezone to burn off the pent up energy.

Here's a nice pic of me and the kids in Sept that I have just found.

We had a great day today. A lazy morning followed by a family swim. Unfortunately the outdoor pool is still closed. But it was rugby day and the pool and club were deserted which surprised us.

The tamagotchi's had babies this week and killed their parents. We've gone from Tama and Bob to Teri and Herby. Though D and I seem to be the ones who spend the time looking after them.

Work is going really well. Fingers crossed that it continues. I'm really enjoying all the nurseries and I am getting more confident about saying "Hi there, I'm Louise Carlisle your supply NN!" I'm also getting more confident in my job and it's like I've never been away.

Bedtime now whoooooooo peace and quiet after today.

Birthday time

Eilidh's 6 now. Her teacher said we should have called her Roberta after the scottish poet who shares her Birthday. But she soon put her straight saying mummy had given her a good Scottish Name.

She was spoiled rotten with lots of new toys and a meal at Fabio's. We're having a big party tomorrow which will be updated with piccies then too.

Here is the party cake........

Here is Murray in Fabio's. He was being cute but pretending to be shy too.

The birthday girl with her cake.

Murray's penguin Ice cream wanted a piece of the cake.

LOTS OF NEWS

This week was the big week returning to work.

I went to get weighed. been battling for 6 weeks to loose 1/2lb. This week I lost 1lb and went over my target weight. So was chuffed with that. I'm now at target and no longer have to pay. Once I find the camera I will get some piccies up. Not sure what I did with it.

Then On Tuesday I phoned the personnel Dept and managed to get some local nursery work for 2 days. So am extremely shattered now. Looking forward to having some rest today as I am soooooo tired now. It was so worth it though and I really enjoyed it. Here's to next week. Murray loves the childminder and wanted to go with her today. But Eilidh is taking it all a lot harder than I thought she would.

So we'll see how we get on.
